  • Building Type: Transportation.
  • Architecture: Ari Gushan.
  • Building Style: Post-Modern.
  • Constuction ended in 1995.
  • Location: Hashalom Bridge, over Ayalon route, between the two roads, right next to Azrieli Center.
  • The station includes a spacious passenger hall at the level of HaShalom Bridge and platforms at the level of Ayalon route .
  • A pedestrian bridge links between the train station and Azrieli Center, the bridge connects directly into the first floor of the shopping mall.
  • The building's roof is wave-shaped.
  • Works for the construction of the third passenger platform in the station are under way. The station expansion is part of "the addition of a third railway in Ayalon route" project. The construction works includes the expansion of all four stations along the route.
  • During the next year, the station will be sealed against weather and noise hazards by the construction of a glass covering in the interior of the station. The glass covering will be built from reinforced glass, steel and stainless steel. It's designed so the architectural style of the station won't be badly affected, while preserving its transparency. The size of the glass covering will be 3,000 cubic meters, while the size of the 5 meter high ceiling will be 600 sqm. The interior space made by the glass covering will be air-conditioned and soundproof. This sort of glass covering is very rare around the world and doesn't exist in Israel at all. In addition to the sealing, the station will be renovated as well, the third platform will be opened and another escalator will be added. The company in charge of the works is Asher-Green.
